wow awesome
I haven't even started reading it yet, and just flicking through the pages I can tell it's yet another quality effort
My copy arrived yesterday and it looks to be as detailed and lovingly put-together as the previous ones in the series
Among other surprises in its 140 pages is a section on Elvis in San Diego in 1956 (April and June), including his set lists (!), and lots of 1970 color concert photos I've not seen before.
If you want to know what Elvis was up to on stage in November 1970, this is the place to find out.
Kieran Davis, I tip my cap to you.
Another great piece of work documenting the whirlwind that was Elvis on tour in November 1970
What I particularly like about Kieran's look at the Nov 1970 tour is the FACT that a lot of shows were 'downright weird behaviour' like in Portland all the talking + throwing of water, .false starts to songs etc....in Seattle missing out a usual Key song (Sus Minds) and a shorter performance
I will be thoroughly enjoying reading this book all this week
It’s a book that is hard to put down
Elvis on tour November 1970 will keep me happy until at least Christmas 2014
